At LLTGL, we maintain a number of ongoing projects in order to fulfill our aims and mission as a Charity. Just some of these projects are listed here and demonstrate where and how we are spending our time and our supporters' donations.
Robyn's Rainbows Initiative
Robyn’s Rainbows came about in August 2007, when we sent Robyn Tainty, who was in desperate need of a double-lung transplant, a balloon as a beacon of hope. Putting a smile on somebody's face is important, especially when there isn't much to smile about - and LLTGL continue to fund this project.

Speakers Project
Over the years, we have discovered that one method of raising awareness triumphs above all others; telling a real life story. In 2010, we aim to roll out an exciting new speakers project, in which we will be training and supporting members of the Transplant community to give talks and presentations. More information coming soon.
Intoto forum
Intoto is a forum, created and run by LLTGL. It has been created to bring together individuals affected by organ/tissue donation and transplantation along with members of the many organisations and campaigns that exist in the UK and worldwide. The forum aims to provide a meeting point where members can register free in order to talk to, support and share ideas with each other.

Media project
Thanks to the generosity of LLTGL supporters, we purchased filming equipment to help us raise more awareness. This allows us to go out and capture incredible real life stories on film; stories that will motivate, move and inspire viewers. We want to create videos that will touch people from all walks of life and from all different communities, and that will help us explain just why Organ Donation is such a vital issue to discuss.

Save Jess
LLTGL Advocate
Jessica Wales was dying after waiting over four years for a double lung transplant. With time against them, the LLTGL gang and supporter Sarah Milne launched a campaign to demonstrate the urgency of Jess' situation, in an attempt to 'Save Jess'. Stemming from a Twitter campaign in September 2009, this project generated widespread publicity and media coverage, including GMTV, Sky News and BBC Breakfast. The campaign quickly gained the support of celebrities such as Beverley Knight, Bill Bailey and the PM's wife Sarah Brown, and resulted in Save Jess-tival — a star-studded awareness gig with singer Natalie Imbruglia and comedian Ed Byrne headlining.

T-shirts
The T-shirts were the very first focus of LLTGL back when Emma and Emily started the small campaign. The premise behind them was to encourage people to talk, to create a point of stimulation for thoughts, feelings and discussion about organ donation. The T-shirts are an ongoing project and have already been featured all over the UK, in the Media, on Celebrities, and on people like you!
